Hi y'all! I'm Whitney, the soon to be Mrs.

I'm 21 years old, I was born and raised in the wonderful state of Texas, and I'm currently finishing up my last class at Baylor University in Waco. But more importantly, at least as far as this blog is concerned, I'm planning a wedding!

My sweet Ryan proposed on October 14, 2011 in San Antonio, and since then I've wasted no time getting started in preparing for the Big Day. Ryan has already proved to be very helpful and doesn't seem to mind my excitement about planning :)

Our hope for our wedding is that it will be a classic affair with beautiful flowers, good food and great music! We're well on our way to planning our dream wedding and looking forward to exchanging our vows at the beautiful, Piazza in the Village.

This is my man! My older, good looking, & charming man ;) I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend, fiance and future husband. He knows how to makes me laugh when I get a little too dramatic/irritable/cranky, he lets me control the remote even though he knows I'll always put it on HGTV and he gives the best back rubs! I plan on taking advantage of that last one in the years to come.

We really enjoy doing pretty much anything, as long as we're together. Some of our favorite past times are laying out by the pool, having a glass of wine at a local wine bar, and watching DVR'd reruns of Seinfeld before bedtime. We're old souls who love good music and great food, and we're planning a classic, romantic wedding to fit our style.

Ryan has a great job in the DFW area, and we recently purchased what will be our first home together in a Northern suburb of Dallas. Although Ryan is getting to enjoy the place while I'm finishing up my degree in Waco, I still take advantage of the weekends to decorate.

Finally, there's my sweet puppy, Memphis. He's a jovial Miniature Aussie who is way too spoiled, and knows it. I love my boys, and I can't wait to all be one little happy family living under the same roof!
